Frequently Asked Questions
Is this HK VP9A1 X model legal in California?
Yes. This specific SKU (81001216) is a factory California Compliant model configured with 10-round magazines and required safety features for transfer through licensed CA FFL dealers.
What optics are compatible with the optic-ready slide?
The optic-ready cut utilizes HK VP9 optic adapter plates (sold separately) to mount a wide variety of popular micro red dots, including Trijicon RMR/SRO, Holosun 407c/507c, Vortex, and Shield footprints.
What are the benefits of a polygonal rifled barrel?
Polygonal rifling replaces traditional lands and grooves with smooth, rounded contours. This creates a tighter gas seal behind the bullet for increased velocity, easier cleaning, and significantly longer barrel life.
Can I use standard capacity VP9 magazines in this pistol?
Mechanically, the frame accepts standard full-size HK VP9 magazines. However, buyers in restricted states like California must adhere to applicable 10-round capacity limits by law.
