When it comes to weapon mounted lights, Streamlight is probably the one that has the market cornered. Sure, there is Surefire, modlite, Cloud Defensive, Etc... But the reality is, most people are looking for the best bang for the buck option. With streamlight's steadily increasing prices, the only thing that is giving it the edge is holster availability. Up until this point, olight WMLs have been affordable, but nothing special in terms of actual real world specifications. That combined with less off the shelf holster availability is really crippling for the brand. I agree with most of the guntubers regarding this light. It is a true do it all WML at a similar price point Streamlight had a decade ago. This thing has enough lumens and candela, and a decent color temperature, where it would be a great duty light as well as an EDC light. The only issue is the holster ecosystem doesn't exist to support it yet. Sure, it will fit holsters that support the larger tlr1 and X300 lights, but it doesn't fit any of the my tlr7 hlx duty style holsters that work with similar sized lights. For people that would only need to buy one holster to accommodate this light, I think it's probably the best light you can buy currently on the market for the price available. It's definitely better than the tlr7 hlx in terms of Candela performance , and the Surefire xsc in all areas. The rechargeable battery system is not as good as just being able to swap out batteries, but you could always use a small battery bank that would also fit in a lockbox with the gun. I would definitely buy this light if you need a EDC light, and don't already have a bunch of holsters for other lights that are of close specifications ( physical dimensions as well as output).
