Instead of adding an extension or using G17/45 mags, these are a much better option. Not only are they affordable but work better overall since the mag body doesn't start to bulge when full. It's great having a mag that simply drops free during reloads. My only issue is the lack of over insertion protection. The OEM mags, as well as EVERY other aftermarket Glock mag, has the built in ledge that interfaces with the frame. Since this is missing that in the design, if you press on the mag, it'll start interfering with the trigger bar. During ECQS, shooting from retention with pressure on the mag, I have seen the trigger not reset from moderate pressure on the mag.
