Export Controls – Terran Gear USA, LLC
Certain products offered by Terran Gear USA, LLC including optics, firearm components, and accessories are subject to U.S. export control laws and regulations. These include the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) under 22 C.F.R. §§ 120–130, the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) under 15 C.F.R. §§ 730–774, and related U.S. statutes and economic sanctions administered by various federal agencies, including the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Commerce.
The U.S. Department of State, through its Directorate of Defense Trade Controls (DDTC), regulates the export and re-export of defense articles and services listed on the United States Munitions List (USML) pursuant to the Arms Export Control Act (22 U.S.C. §§ 2778–2780) and the ITAR. Items subject to ITAR may not be exported from the United States without prior authorization from the Department of State.
The U.S. Department of Commerce, through its Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS), regulates the export and re-export of "dual-use" items - products and technologies with both civilian and military applications -under the EAR. Export of such items may require a license or authorization from BIS.
Diversion of any products sold by Terran Gear USA, LLC in violation of U.S. export laws is strictly prohibited.
