Product Overview
DPM Mechanical Recoil Reduction System | Springfield Hellcat Pro 3.7" (HS H11 PRO)
Overview: Upgrade your Springfield Hellcat Pro HS H11 PRO with the DPM Mechanical Recoil Reduction System; a direct, drop-in replacement for the factory guide rod. This high-performance multi-spring system smooths slide travel, reduces felt recoil, and cushions the slide at the end of travel to protect the frame and improve follow-up speed.
Compatibility
- Springfield Hellcat Pro (HS H11 PRO) - 3.7" models
What’s Included
- 1 × DPM recoil reduction rod (drop-in replacement)
- 3 × external springs (short / medium / long - different power rates)
- 2 × spring plugs (short & long) for tuning total buffer force
- Installation & tuning instructions
How It Works
The DPM system uses a multi-spring telescopic design where three springs compress progressively during slide travel. The internal spring dynamics act as a progressive buffer so the slide never slams hard into the frame reducing peak forces, smoothing recoil impulse, and improving reliability and control.
Power Rates — Slide in Battery (Closed)
- Short external spring: 9 lbs
- Medium (Gold) external spring: 10 lbs
- Long external spring: 11 lbs
Total Force — Slide Full Open Position (Approx.)
- With Short Spring Plug: 18 lbs (approx.)
- With Long Spring Plug: 22 lbs (approx.)
Key Benefits
- Faster follow-up shots — smoother recoil and quicker sight recovery.
- Reduced muzzle/slide impulse — more comfortable shooting and less felt recoil.
- Slide & frame protection — progressive buffering prevents hard impacts at full travel.
- Improved reliability — helps reduce certain jams and failure-to-feed issues.
- Adjustable/tuneable — use different springs and plugs to match ammunition, ports, compensators or suppressors.
- Lifetime warranty — backed by the manufacturer.
Installation & Tuning Notes
- Always unload the firearm and verify it is safe before beginning work.
- The spring plug(s) must always be installed when using the DPM rod and springs — omission can cause improper function.
- Begin testing with the medium spring and short plug, then adjust springs/plugs to fine-tune performance for your ammo and any slide modifications.
- If you have unique slide mods or compensators, contact DPM or your retailer prior to ordering to confirm compatibility or custom needs.
