DPM Mechanical Recoil Reduction System — Springfield 1911 DS Prodigy 5" (AOS) 9mm
Drop-in recoil upgrade for the Springfield Prodigy 5" bull-barrel (AOS) 9mm — replaces the factory recoil rod with a tunable, multi-spring system that improves felt recoil, protects the slide/frame, and speeds follow-up shots without modifying your pistol.

How it works
The DPM system uses an internal multi-spring rod plus interchangeable external springs and spacers. External springs set the slide-in-battery (closed) force; spacers change the slide-full-open (buffer) force. Mix & match springs and spacers to fine tune recoil impulse and slide behavior.
